Hybrid Acrylic Builder Gel, Clear
The new gel is good news for everyone who loves acrylic technology, because working with it is very similar to this technology. In terms of consistency, acrylic gel is like a ready-made mix of monomer and polymer. Many salons have banned the use of acrylic technology because of the unpleasant smell of the monomer. The new gel is a great solution to this, because it has no smell.
Those who practice acrylic technology do not need a lot of retraining, because the manner in which the gel is applied to the nail is similar to acrylic technology – you start by patting the nail lightly with a damp brush and continue with longer brush strokes. The biggest advantage of the product in comparison with acrylic is that you have more time to create the correct shape, because the hardening process only starts under the UV or LED lamp. The gel does not run to the nail walls after application.
The new product is as strong and durable as acrylic, which allows you to create all kinds of different nail shapes and nail extensions.
Prepare the nail as usual before applying the gel. Use a base gel. Use a spatula to get the product out of the jar. The other end of the brushes in the Mereneid Sari range is also suitable for this, as the brush handles are made of durable acrylic, the ends of the handles are diagonally cut and the brushes are easy to clean. Take some product (a piece the size of an acrylic ball) and place near the nail wall. The product can be shaped with a lightly dampened (with Residue Remover) brush. Make sure that the product doesn’t get too wet, like you would in the case of acrylic. After you’ve created the desired shape, harden the gel under a UV (2 min) or 90 s LED 24 W, 395 nm lamp.
